How I work

How we relate matters.

My work is trauma-informed, relational and present-focused. Rather than trying to change your behaviour, we become curious about what might be getting in the way of how you want to live and express yourself, and what might become possible when you feel more choice within.

NARM® is one of the main approaches that informs my work.

FAQs

A few practical questions.

How is this different from traditional talk therapy?

NARM® differs from traditional talk therapy primarily through its holistic approach. It works not only with what someone thinks or talks about, but also with what is happening in the body, such as tension, breathing and posture. Rather than focusing mainly on the past, it explores what is showing up in the present moment. NARM does not centre on behavioural change, but on exploring what might be getting in the way of how you want to live and express yourself.

Are sessions online?

Yes. All individual, couples and separation sessions currently take place online via Zoom.

How much does coaching cost?

I use an income-based sliding scale. The first session and the ongoing 5-session packages have separate rates for individuals and couples. View all fees.

Is your work psychotherapy?

No. My services are coaching and do not constitute psychotherapy or medical treatment. They are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric or psychotherapeutic diagnosis or treatment.

What happens in the first session?

You can share what brings you here, ask questions and begin working directly with what is currently affecting you. Afterwards, you can decide whether you would like to continue with a 5-session package.
